Christmas can be joyful, heavy, hopeful, and hard — often all at once. This Advent at Christ Our Refuge, we’re exploring the promise that Jesus knows what we really need.
Through the book of Isaiah, we’ll reflect on God’s gifts of hope, peace, joy, and love, and how they are fulfilled in Christ.
Whether church is familiar or completely new to you, you’re warmly invited to join us this Christmas in Brisbane — for Advent Sundays, Christmas carols, and our Christmas Eve service.

Whatever you’re comfortable in. Some people dress up a little for Christmas; others keep it casual.

We are a Bible-based, gospel-centred church in Brisbane, part of the Anglican Diocese of the Southern Cross. We’re a mix of people from many backgrounds, united by the hope found in Jesus.
I haven’t been to church in a long time — is that okay?
Absolutely. You’re very welcome, whether it’s been years since you’ve been to church or you’ve never been before.
