INTRO TO THE BIBLE
How does the Bible fit together?
The Bible is not a random collection of disconnected stories. It is one big story of God’s purposes for his world, fulfilled in Jesus Christ.
This Term 3, on Tuesday nights during our odd weeks, we’ll be working through the Moore College PTC course Biblical Theology 1: Introduction to the Bible.
This course is a brilliant and foundational introduction to the big picture of God’s word. It helps us see how the story of Scripture unfolds from creation to new creation, from promise to fulfilment, and from Genesis to Jesus.
Each night will include two interactive teaching sessions, with a short break in the middle.
When: Tuesday nights during odd weeks of Term 3: July 14, July 28, Aug 11, Aug 25, Sept 8
Time: BYO dinner from 6:30pm, teaching from 7:00–9:00pm
Where: Christ our Refuge — 58 Maygar Street, Windsor
Who: Everyone is welcome
Cost: Free to attend
Bring: Bible, pen, paper
Optional: Participants may choose to enrol formally with Moore College PTC and complete the optional exam.
You don’t need to commit to every week in order to come. Each night will stand on its own, and we plan to record the teaching so people can catch up.
